Comments: Book Review (July 30, 04) - Truly the definition of Inspiration.

Indeed, In his book, the writing and prose of Mr. Mishler knows both depth and height. A delightful and insightful gift. As one begins reading the simpler lines, we are struck suddenly as if by a breeze that takes us soaring upward, to a new understanding of self and the Majesty of the Spirit. Such as "On Being" and "Blade of Honest Point" and many others.
Exhilarating!

Comments: Thanks to a fortuitous link in the Richard Bach forum I've found your excellent site. Only a week ago my 18 year old daughter Nancye and I found indescribable joy in a close encounter with an adult sea eagle. In our little J3 Cub with the windows open left and right we observed the bird at about 2000 feet over the waters of Port Arthur in SE Tasmania. After four passes the eagle probably tired of the clatter and disappeared. His wings were held unmoving in high dihedral with pinions vertical like winglets. Later, it brought back memories of the late soaring pilot Philip Wills books,'On Being a Bird' and 'Free as a Bird'- works of a poet, a romantic and a highly articulate, proficient glider pilot.
